Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid California SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working with TK-6th grade students
- Ability to organize and manage a caseload efficiently
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades TK-6th under the direction of an SLP
- Implement treatment plans, document progress, and support IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to maximize student success
- Assist with screenings and help prepare therapy materials
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and session notes
- Work alongside the outgoing SLP to ensure a seamless hand-off and continuity of care
