Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Job in North Haven, CT
ProCare Therapy is looking for a motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students in a North Haven, CT school setting. This is a school-based opportunity where you’ll work alongside an SLP and help students develop their communication skills in an educational environment.
Position Overview:
Location: North Haven, CT
Setting: School-based
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: Full-time
Caseload: K–12
Pay: $40+ based on experience
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide speech and language services under the direction of a supervising SLP
- Work with students on individualized communication goals
- Assist with implementing treatment plans
- Track student progress and maintain documentation
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff
- Support students with a variety of speech and language needs
Qualifications:
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification/credentials
- Active Connecticut SLPA license or eligibility
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively with students and educational staff
