This contract position is based near Moreno Valley, CA, working collaboratively in dynamic elementary school environments. Desired Qualifications:
- Current SLPA license or certification in California
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication skills with students, educators, and families
- Ability to follow direction and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Organized, reliable, and adaptable to different grade levels and caseload needs
Your Schedule:
- Monday & Friday: Support services at Peralta Elementary School
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: Provide assistance at Sky Country Elementary School
- Work closely with two SLPs overseeing a collective caseload of approximately 55 students
- Contract assignment ending December 13
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement direct treatment plans designed by supervising SLPs
- Assist in conducting speech and language activities with students
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Prepare therapy materials and support IEP processes as needed
- Engage positively with classroom staff, parents, and caregivers
- Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions
