Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Minnesota SLPA license in hand at the time of application (active status required)
- Experience supporting speech-language therapy services in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit to work effectively with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and school routines
- Excellent organizational skills to balance caseload and documentation requirements
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned elementary school caseload
- Deliver engaging and effective activities to support students’ speech, language, and communication goals
- Track and document student progress, and report outcomes to supervising SLP and relevant school staff
- Maintain open and positive communication with staff and families to support student success
- Ensure compliance with district and state procedures related to special education services
