School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Middleburg, Florida

Step into a rewarding role supporting student success in a dynamic school environment, working as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on a full-time contract. This position will place you at one of several designated educational sites, where you’ll provide direct speech services to students from a variety of backgrounds and age groups.
Your expertise will help shape student achievement and communication skills throughout the academic year. The assignment runs from your immediate start date through May 28, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 35 hours weekly (7 hours per day).
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant License issued by the Florida Department of Health
- At least two years of SLPA experience, including a minimum of six months within a school-based setting
- Familiarity with Florida’s fingerprinting and credential verification process; ability to quickly complete or update required background checks as needed
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit for working within a school-based team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy services to assigned caseloads under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists
- Maintain current and accurate session records in accordance with school and state requirements
- Work closely with educators and special education teams to support students in their communication goals
- Engage in individualized and group therapy sessions, adapting materials and methods for diverse student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEPs as appropriate
