Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) supporting educational needs in a dynamic school environment. Two rewarding opportunities are available: one position involves partnering with a virtual SLP to facilitate on-site speech services, while the other focuses on providing direct speech-language therapy to a traditional caseload. Both roles offer the chance to work closely with elementary-age students in a collaborative setting with a full-time schedule.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLPA license required
- Prior experience supporting speech therapy in a school setting is highly desirable
- Capability to manage and adapt to a diverse student caseload
- Professionalism and excellent communication skills
- Commitment to on-site service delivery; this position does not offer remote or virtual options
- Ability to complete and clear necessary fingerprint/background checks as part of the credentialing process
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with SLPs and educational staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based speech therapy to support students’ communicative success
- Accurately document student progress and service delivery in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings and respond flexibly to the day-to-day needs of the school community
- Foster a positive, supportive environment for all students
These contract roles begin as soon as possible and continue through the end of May 2026, with consistent hours Monday through Friday at approximately one school site. Candidates with previously completed Florida school district fingerprints may expedite credentialing.
