Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license in Illinois
- Experience or strong interest in working with students with autism, emotional, or intellectual disabilities
- Previous school-based SLPA experience preferred but not required
- Professional communication skills and a compassionate, collaborative approach
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Support students' communication development as outlined in their IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to foster positive student outcomes
- Help prepare and organize materials, data collection, and progress monitoring
- Assist in implementing behavior strategies and supporting social skills within the classroom
