Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLPA certification and experience working in school settings
- Familiarity with speech-language therapy techniques and protocols for school-aged children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, therapists, and families
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining detailed documentation
- Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and compliance requirements within schools
Location: Los Angeles, California
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language pathology services to elementary and middle school students
- Assist the overseeing Speech-Language Pathologist in developing and implementing therapy plans
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports for assigned students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Provide supportive intervention tailored to individual student needs
