- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLPA
- Experience providing speech and language services to children in educational settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and school staff
- Ability to follow therapy plans, document progress, and support students’ Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple student cases simultaneously
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist in implementing therapy programs and activities tailored to individual student needs
- Collect data and maintain organized documentation on student progress
- Support administrative tasks related to speech-language services as needed
- Participate in team meetings, in-service training, and ongoing professional development
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all students
