An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support school-age students in a dynamic educational environment located in Labelle, FL. This travel position involves providing direct speech and language services under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists for continuous supervision and professional guidance.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents, even during high-stress or crisis situations.
  • Travel between school sites during the day as needed to serve multiple locations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance with educational standards.
  • Provide onsite services; virtual work is not part of this role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or related field; or an AAS degree from an SLPA program.
  • Active SLPA license/certification.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage responsibilities across multiple school settings.
