School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
A great school district is now looking to hire a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year in **LaBelle, FL**. The position will support students across Hendry County Schools and is a great opportunity for an SLPA who is comfortable working with a K–12 caseload and traveling between multiple school locations throughout the county.
This is a school-based contract position serving students in grades K–12. Candidates must be comfortable traveling throughout the **entire Hendry County School District** based on student and school needs.
**Responsibilities:**
· Provide SLPA support under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
· Assist with speech and language therapy services for K–12 students.
· Support students with communication, articulation, language development, and related needs.
· Implement treatment plans and therapy activities as directed by the supervising SLP.
· Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, administrators, and other school staff to support student progress.
· Complete required documentation and other general SLPA duties as assigned.
· Travel between multiple school locations throughout Hendry County as needed.
**Experience:**
· Previous school-based or pediatric SLPA experience preferred.
· Experience working with K–12 students is a plus.
**Education/Requirements:**
· **Active Florida SLPA license required.**
· Must meet all Florida and school district requirements for SLPA practice.
· Must be comfortable traveling throughout Hendry County.
