As a vital member of the student support team, you’ll provide services across different sites (itinerant with paid travel), gaining exposure to various workplace practices and leadership styles. Qualifications/Requirements:
- Valid SLPA license and eligibility to work in Texas
- Experience in school or healthcare settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work itinerantly in multiple schools
- Ability to start as soon as possible and commit through the end of the school year
- Fingerprinting and other district credentialing as required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support student progress through direct and indirect speech-language services
- Collaborate with supervising SLPs and campus staff
- Document therapy in the district IEP system (training provided)
- Assist in preparing materials and maintaining a safe, well-equipped therapy space
- Attend paid team meetings and participate in professional learning opportunities
