Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA licensure or certification as recognized by the state
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (1st–5th grade preferred)
- Basic knowledge of expressive and receptive language development
- Ability to implement speech and language goals under supervision of an SLP
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language support services to students in 1st through 5th grade, following treatment plans developed by a supervising SLP
- Assist with documentation of student progress and maintain accurate service records
- Collaborate with general education and special education teachers to adapt classroom materials and strategies to support communication needs
- Participate in team meetings and share observations regarding student progress
- Support the implementation of group and individual interventions as assigned
