Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Kansas City, KS

Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in Kansas
- Prior experience providing speech-language services in a K-12 or school setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfort traveling between multiple school sites as assigned
- Ability to work collaboratively under the guidance of a licensed SLP
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct communication therapy to K-12 students as directed by supervising SLPs
- Gather data and document student progress toward individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Support implementation of treatment plans and therapy activities
- Communicate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and school staff regarding student needs
- Organize your weekly schedule based on assignment and caseload requirements
- Maintain compliance with district and state regulations regarding therapy support
