These positions, based on-site, support speech-language services within the public school system. The assignments run from ASAP through May 28, 2026, offering 35 hours per week (7 hours per day) at one school location.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting a virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver speech services as a speech facilitator in one role
- Providing direct speech services to students in a traditional caseload in the second role
- Collaborating with educators and staff to support speech goals and student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with school and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications and experience needed:
- Active Speech Language Pathology Assistant licensure issued by the Florida Department of Health (DOH)
- Experience working with school-aged children in a speech therapy capacity
- Ability to assist both virtual and in-person speech services as assigned
- Successful completion or current status of fingerprinting through the AHCA Clearinghouse or readiness to undergo fingerprinting required for clearance and JLA badge issuance
This on-site position is not open to virtual or remote work arrangements. Candidates should be prepared to engage with students and staff directly in the school environment.
