This opportunity offers a full-time, on-site role for two Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) in an educational setting located in Middleburg, FL. The position supports the delivery of speech-language services in schools, providing essential assistance to students in need of speech facilitation and direct intervention.
Responsibilities:
- Support a virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) by facilitating speech services on-site for one position.
- Provide direct speech services to students in a traditional caseload for the second position.
- Collaborate with educators and specialists to develop and implement speech therapy plans.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and therapy sessions.
- Comply with all school district policies and state regulations regarding speech-language pathology services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLPA licensure is required.
- Previous experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in school settings preferred.
- Successful completion of fingerprinting through the AHCA Clearinghouse or willingness to complete fingerprinting as required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
- Ability to work full-time (35 hours per week, 7 hours per day) on-site.
Location: Middleburg, Florida, supporting likely one school site within the Duval County Public Schools district.
