A full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position is available in the Cape Coral, FL area, serving multiple school locations. This contract role involves working onsite with a caseload of 50-55 students across elementary school settings. Candidates must be ready to start as soon as possible, with the assignment running through June 1, 2026.
Responsibilities include providing speech therapy support under the direction of licensed Speech Language Pathologists, implementing treatment plans, documenting student progress, and collaborating with educational staff to enhance student communication skills. The role requires working primarily at Harns Marsh Elementary (2 days per week) and Mirror Lakes Elementary (1 day per week).
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLPA license
- Experience with school-aged children and caseload management (50-55 students)
- Ability to complete fingerprint clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse or provide proof of valid prints transferable within Florida school districts
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to on-site work; remote options are not available for this position
