Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Coachella, CA

The role is open to travel professionals ready to make a long-term commitment and who are bilingual in Spanish—applications from bilingual candidates will be prioritized through April.
Key Qualifications:
- Holds or is eligible for a Certificate of Clearance (COC)
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required for current consideration
- Experience in schools preferred; knowledge of SEIS and Paradigm systems is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Open to itinerant assignments, with flexibility to serve various school sites
- Comfortable working under the supervision of tele-SLPs and collaborating on student plans
- Experience or familiarity with AAC devices and supporting students with mild to moderate (and some severe) needs
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in screening, assessing, and supporting speech-language services for a diverse PreK–K12 caseload
- Implement therapy activities, monitor student progress, and document outcomes
- Collaborate with supervising SLPs (virtually), teachers, and parents to maximize student success
- Adapt techniques and materials to accommodate individual needs and goals
- Travel between schools as needed for itinerant support
