This onsite school contract opportunity is available in Limon, CO, for two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support students in PreK-12th grades. The role involves delivering direct and indirect speech therapy services under supervision, contributing to comprehensive student support and development throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete speech and language assessments for students from PreK through 12th grade
- Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to collaborate with educators and families
- Provide both direct therapy sessions and indirect support tailored to student needs
- Document student progress and maintain accurate caseload records
- Work closely with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists for guidance and development
Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA certification recognized by the respective state education department
- Experience working with school-aged children in speech-language pathology settings preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to supporting educational goals through effective speech-language services
