School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Houston, Texas

Support student success across three dynamic campuses—Furr High School, Edison Middle School, and Holland Middle School—by providing high-quality therapy services in partnership with local educational teams. What we’re looking for:
- Active Texas SLPA license (must be held prior to start; submit a screenshot with your application)
- Prior school-based experience as an SLPA—familiarity with IEPs, service delivery in school settings, and collaborative teaming preferred
- Ability to reliably commute to all three designated campuses during the assignment
- On-site service providers only—remote positions are not available
- Readiness to complete HISD fingerprinting within the first three days after contract signing
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Professional references reflecting positive impact in school settings
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students under supervision of an SLP
- Support IEP implementation, data collection, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district requirements
- Travel among assigned campuses as scheduled, fostering relationships and continuity of care
