School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Hertford, NC

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLPA licensure (or eligibility) in North Carolina
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for supporting children’s developmental and academic success
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 40-50 K-5th grade students
- Implement individualized treatment plans created by supervising SLP
- Track and document student progress, contributing to IEP meetings as needed
- Participate in team consultations regarding student needs and interventions
- Foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and families
- Uphold all ethical and professional standards in school-based settings
- Attend scheduled supervision sessions and professional development opportunities
