In this contract position, you’ll work full-time, onsite, playing a valuable role in fostering student success and communication growth in an inclusive school environment.
As a member of a dedicated special education team, you’ll assist a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in carrying out treatment plans, supporting students’ speech and language development, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating effectively with other educators and staff.
Qualifications:
- Valid and active Georgia GaPSC certification (must provide verification snapshot)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting
- Preferred: Background in delivering speech/language services under SLP supervision
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and record-keeping abilities
- Ability to commit to a full-time schedule (Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours weekly)
- Reliable transportation for consistent attendance
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly support speech and language interventions as outlined by supervising SLP
- Work one-on-one or with small groups of students, reinforcing speech goals
- Track student progress, keeping thorough and timely documentation
- Collaborate with classroom staff and participate in team meetings as required
- Uphold district and state regulations for therapy services in educational settings
This is an onsite-only, contract position set to run through May 2027. The specific caseload and school location within the district will be determined prior to assignment.
