The position features a consistent weekday schedule, offering 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. You'll be working closely with PreK students, enabling you to contribute positively to their early learning experiences.
Qualifications & Credentials:
- Active Arizona SLPA license required
- IVP fingerprint clearance card needed
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
Responsibilities:
- Assist SLPs in developing and implementing therapy plans for PreK students
- Provide direct and indirect services as outlined by supervising SLP
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Support classroom teachers with strategies and tools for speech and language development
- Prepare materials and resources for speech therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development
