Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech or Communication Disorders (required)
- Eligibility to practice as an SLPA in Georgia (note: no SLPA licensure provided/required in GA)
- Previous experience as an SLPA in a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Passion for serving diverse student populations and adapting to multiple environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist supervising Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to students in both group and individual settings
- Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Prepare instructional materials and document student progress
- Travel to and provide therapy at multiple school locations as assigned
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with district policies
- Collaborate with staff and families to support student achievement and carryover of skills
Assignment Details:
- Contract position, covering the school year from late July through May
- Full-time: 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day
- Provide services across several school locations
