A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to support students in preschool through 4th to 6th grade in a school setting in Citrus Heights, CA. This contract position offers 34 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, for the remainder of the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists to implement individualized therapy plans.
- Conduct speech and language assessments under supervision.
- Provide direct support and therapy to students in preschool and elementary grades.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated care.
Qualifications:
- Valid California SLPA license is required.
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially in preschool and elementary settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently within established protocols.
