Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Missouri SLPA license is required
- Previous experience in an elementary or school-based setting strongly preferred
- Ability to engage, motivate, and support elementary-aged students
- Solid communication skills for effective collaboration with SLP supervisors, teachers, and families
- Strong time management and adaptability within busy school environments
- Must successfully complete district fingerprinting and onboarding requirements prior to the start date
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services under SLP supervision to students in an elementary school
- Support students’ communication goals through both individual and small group sessions
- Implement prescribed therapy plans, documenting progress and communicating regularly with the supervising SLP
- Attend and participate in meetings or trainings as assigned
- Help ensure compliance with IEP goals and district guidelines
