You’ll work a consistent 37.5-hour week at a single campus, offering stability throughout your assignment. This position requires in-person service and engagement with elementary-aged children. Your expertise will be especially valuable as you provide continuity of care and maintain high standards during this FMLA leave period.
What we’re seeking:
- Current, active Missouri SLPA license (required)
- Experience or enthusiasm for working in elementary educational settings
- Previous school-based SLPA experience is highly valuable
- Ability to support speech-language goals as directed by supervising SLPs
- Compliance with district credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting and background clearance
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Timeliness with contractor paperwork and compliance processes
Key responsibilities:
- Implement speech-language therapy activities and support individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports, following school and district guidelines
- Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and school staff
- Positively engage with students, adapting interventions for diverse needs
