- Registered with the North Carolina speech board, or eligible for full or temporary SLPA registration
- Background providing speech-language therapy and documenting services in a K-12 school setting
- Familiarity with Google Drive and Microsoft Office for efficient documentation and communication
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Dedicated to supporting students’ communication goals
- Start the NCBOE registration process after hire with assigned supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students under supervision, supporting educational growth
- Collect and document student progress according to school and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with teachers, other staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in meetings, IEP development, and ongoing professional collaboration
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and district requirements
- Adapt to assigned caseload and campuses as determined after hire
