A bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available in San Antonio, TX, serving two schools within the district. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
- Support students in both Highlands High School and Longfellow Middle School.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district-specific requirements.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas SLPA license is required.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is mandatory.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 120 students.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Completion of district-required credentialing forms upon offer acceptance.
Location: The position requires on-site presence at two schools in San Antonio, Texas.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, from the start date until May 29, 2026.
Compensation: Competitive pay rates range from $38 to $50 per hour, based on years of school experience.
