A Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available in the Madera area, serving an established school district on a full-time, full school year contract basis. This itinerant position requires supporting multiple preschool sites and conducting home visits in the afternoons.
Location: Madera, CA
Setting: School-based, Itinerant role covering 5-6 preschool sites in the mornings with afternoon home visits
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language support at multiple preschool locations in the mornings
- Conduct afternoon home visits to 7 homebound preschool children, working closely with families to schedule visits flexibly
- Facilitate speech and language evaluations and assist with Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Collaborate with supervising Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver quality services
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, given the community served
- Ability to navigate and manage homebound services confidently
- Commitment to serving young children with diverse needs
- Must be supervised by a licensed SLP

- Mileage reimbursement is available for commuting
