Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant certification (TX)
- Experience working with children in educational settings, particularly K-12 populations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for student, teacher, and parent collaboration
- Ability to follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt to diverse student needs
- Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy sessions to students under the direction of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Support the implementation of IEP goals tailored to each student’s abilities and challenges
- Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and provide feedback to the supervising SLP
- Engage in collaboration with educators and families to enhance students’ communication skills
