Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLPA license or certification meeting state requirements
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but enthusiastic early-career professionals are welcome
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, fellow therapists, and families
- Ability to reliably commute between multiple school sites within the week
- Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and supporting individualized student plans
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of an SLP
- Implement individualized communication goals as outlined in IEPs and treatment plans
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions designed to improve speech, language, and social skills
- Support classroom teachers with carryover strategies and communication accommodations
- Track progress and assist with data collection for ongoing evaluations and meetings
- Adapt therapy activities to meet diverse student needs across multiple campuses
