What you’ll bring:
- Active registration and good standing with the state board as an SLPA
- Some experience working with school-age populations as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant is desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a changing school environment and with a TBD number of campuses or caseloads
- Commitment to fostering communication skills and supporting diverse student needs
Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting speech-language pathologists in implementing plans to help students achieve communication goals
- Supporting therapy activities in individual and small group settings, as directed
- Collecting and recording student progress data accurately
- Helping to prepare educational materials and maintain equipment
- Communicating with teachers, parents, and related service staff in a professional manner
- Adhering to the guidelines and expectations of both the school district and state licensure
