This full-time, school-based contract position begins September 1, 2026, and continues through May 20, 2027, offering a diverse, rewarding opportunity to deliver impactful services across multiple campuses.
Your week will be structured with no daily travel between sites—enjoy consistency and the ability to focus on providing high-quality care to your assigned students each day. You’ll serve students at two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school, collaborating with educators and building strong student relationships within each building.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current and active Texas SLPA licensure required
- Successful completion of required fingerprinting and drug screening prior to start date
- Experience or desire to work with diverse student groups, K-12
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting students with various speech and language needs
- Positive, energetic approach to teamwork and school partnerships
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language pathology services under supervision of SLP, following student IEPs and plans
- Support prevention, assessment, and intervention activities for assigned caseload
- Collect and document student progress data in accordance with school protocols
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize each student’s communicative potential
- Uphold confidentiality and compliance with school policies and state regulations
