Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Buda, TX

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA license or certification in the state is required
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with elementary and middle school-aged children
- Solid understanding of IEPs and therapy documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with speech-language pathologists and educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists
- Support students in both pull-out and classroom-based settings, focusing on articulation, language, social skills, and fluency
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Create engaging materials and activities to target students’ speech-language goals
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and session notes
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and IEP reviews as needed
- Foster an encouraging, positive, and inclusive environment for student growth
