Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Berkeley, CA

Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or certification.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to working with students on the Autism Spectrum.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to implement therapy plans and individualized goals under SLP supervision.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language therapy for children and young adults.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language interventions as outlined by supervising SLPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student communication outcomes.
- Help document progress and maintain accurate records.
- Support social communication and functional language objectives.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
