Minimum Requirements:

Associate degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.

Active Maryland SLPA license or registration.

Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.

Ability to collaborate effectively with school teams and supervising SLPs.

This school-based opportunity allows an SLPA to support elementary students as they build critical communication and language skills. You will work closely with a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist to help students gain confidence, improve academic participation, and succeed in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language services under SLP supervision.

Support articulation, language, and communication goals for elementary students.

Prepare therapy materials and assist with lesson implementation.

Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation.

Collaborate with teachers and staff to reinforce communication strategies.
