Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Bristol, Vermont
This opportunity offers a position for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) within a K-12 educational setting in Bristol, VT. The role involves supporting a mixed caseload of students and providing onsite services during the regular school week. This contract position spans the entire school year (CSY) and replaces a virtual provider, ensuring direct, in-person interaction with students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to K-12 students with varied communication needs.
- Manage a mixed caseload, addressing speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with special education teams to support students’ individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Deliver services onsite, maintaining regular hours from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as necessary to meet student needs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold a valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working in school settings (K-12), including pediatric speech therapy.
- Ability to manage caseloads in special education with case management responsibilities.
- Prior practice in healthcare or teletherapy settings is beneficial but not required.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates with appropriate licensure will be considered.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to student success.
