School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Anaheim, CA

Sessions occur three mornings a week, from approximately 7:30 am to 11:30 am, aligning with the school’s daily schedule and routines.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current California licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience and passion for working with young children, particularly those in a preschool setting
- Familiarity with articulation intervention strategies and age-appropriate language activities
- Excellent communication skills, both with students and with teachers or caregivers
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group articulation therapy to preschool students
- Support and reinforce student goals outlined by supervising SLPs
- Track progress, maintain accurate session notes, and report on student advancement
- Provide suggestions and feedback to classroom staff to foster carryover of skills
- Follow the established classroom schedule, collaborating seamlessly with educators
