You’ll work full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday) throughout the academic year, beginning August 27, 2026, and concluding May 27, 2027. You’ll assist with managing a caseload of 101 students, helping to provide essential communication services while gaining hands-on school-based experience.
What we’re looking for:
- Current, active Texas SLPA license
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from supervising SLPs
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, student-centered environment
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services under the direction of a licensed SLP
- Support students one-on-one or in small groups to meet individual educational goals
- Collect and maintain accurate data and student records
- Contribute to IEP implementation and progress monitoring
- Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and allied professionals
