A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the current school year (CSY) with an option for the next school year (NSY) in Yuma, AZ. This role supports K-8 students within a dynamic public school setting, providing critical speech and language interventions to enhance student communication and learning outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in K-8 students.
- Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support integrated instructional goals.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Valid Arizona SLP licensure.
- Arizona Educational Certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
- Experience working with school-age children (K-8) in a school setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Location: This position is onsite only in Yuma, AZ.
