A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting located in Citrus Heights, CA. This contract role focuses on delivering speech and language services to preschool through 5th-grade students. The assignment will start as soon as possible and continue through June.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to a caseload of approximately 50 students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP); valid SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or School SLP credentials required.
- Experience working with children in preschool through elementary grades.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language developmental milestones and therapy techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within the school team.
