This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic elementary school community serving preschool through 5th-grade students. The role is a contract-based assignment from ASAP through June, providing support to a caseload of approximately 50 students. It is an ideal setting for professionals holding or working toward a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or on a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in Speech-Language Pathology, with experience or interest in school-based therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to students Preschool through 5th grade.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with educational standards.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary approaches for student success.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), with CCC or CFY status preferred.
- Experience working within elementary school settings.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
