Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in Michigan and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school or healthcare setting supporting children with diverse speech and language needs
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to partner with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
- Support students in integrating effective communication strategies within the classroom
