Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Ypsilanti, MI
Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist near Ypsilanti, MI, for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Michigan SLP license required
- Minimum of one year of experience providing speech services to K–12 students in an educational setting

- Comprehensive understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Must be available onsite; remote/virtual work is not an option for this assignment
- Please note: SLP Clinical Fellows are not eligible for this position
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders among K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain records to ensure compliance
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services with evidence-based practices
- Communicate progress and strategies to families and school staff effectively
