Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations, assessments and diagnosis of speech, voice, hearing and language impairments.
- Provide appropriate individualized programs of intervention to meet individual students' needs in the areas of communication, language development, articulation and social communication.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and other related service providers to implement interventions.
- Work across elementary and/or secondary settings depending on district needs, including potential assignments in Pre-K–5, self-contained classrooms, or preschool classrooms.
- Serve across 1–2 school placements as determined by student needs.
Experience:
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric offices preferred.
Education:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field required.
- Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist License required.
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
Work Schedule: 7.5-hour days, 37.5 hours per week
Work Dates: Tentatively August 12, 2026 – June 2027
Caseload: Approximately 68 students per SLP; assignments may include Pre-K–5, secondary, self-contained, or preschool settings
