School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | York, Pennsylvania
Speech-Language Pathologists with a passion for supporting students are needed for several contract roles serving a diverse range of learners in the York, PA area. Four onsite SLPs are sought to provide services across three educational locations from August 2026 through May 2027, working 35 hours each week in collaborative, student-centered settings. Candidates interested in making a difference in elementary, middle, or secondary environments will find meaningful opportunities to support students’ communication.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP and teaching certifications (please submit proof with resume)
- SLP-CCC, Clinical Fellow applicants (CFs) accepted—must be eligible for agency-paid supervision fee
- SLPAs considered, though not recognized for independent practice per PA guidelines
- Strong knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems preferred
- Expertise in school-based speech-language services and applicable populations
Site-Specific Focuses:
- Elementary, autistic support (no case management, caseload ~45, Dover location)
- Middle grades (4–8), mixed caseload with regular, learning, life skills, and autism support (caseload ~45, New Oxford)
- High school/secondary, transition planning, real-life skill development (part-time/full-time, caseload up to 55, York Tech)
- Complex needs, strong AAC and team-based approach, dedicated on-site team collaboration (no case management, caseload ~45, York Learning Center)
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services per student IEPs
- Engage in multidisciplinary team collaboration with OTs, PTs, and specialized educators
- Employ evidence-based practices and creative therapy methodologies
- Participate in case management and related service duties as designated
