Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY), Occupational Therapist, or Physical Therapist (school-based focus preferred)
- Master's degree in a relevant field required
- Prior experience in school settings is highly valued but not mandatory for strong new graduates
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, teachers, and families
- Strong organizational abilities to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver therapy to students in accordance with individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Work closely with faculty, special education staff, and parents to address students’ unique needs
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation according to school guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to IEP development
- Provide regular progress updates and adapt therapeutic interventions as necessary
- Support school-wide initiatives to promote student engagement and well-being
