School Speech Language Pathologist - Woodland, WA
Step into an impactful onsite position for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year, serving schools in the Longview, Washington area. This contract opportunity is designed for a Speech-Language Pathologist with dedication to supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. You'll work in a collaborative educational environment where your expertise will help students with a wide range of disabilities, from mild to severe, communicate and thrive both academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist License (Department of Health)
- Possess a valid Washington State OSPI ESA License with SLP endorsement
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working in school settings and familiarity with diverse student populations
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educational teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Address a spectrum of communication disorders affecting educational performance
- Maintain detailed progress notes, data collection, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, families, and other professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
