Experience an engaging opportunity supporting students as a dedicated speech-language pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite role offers the chance to work across elementary, middle, and high school settings, collaborating with school staff to create a positive impact in communication skills for students with a variety of needs ranging from mild to severe disabilities.
Your expertise will guide students toward their goals within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. This position allows you to utilize your clinical knowledge in a flexible and rewarding educational context.
Qualifications:
- Active Washington State SLP License (Department of Health)
- Washington State OSPI ESA license with SLP endorsement (must be fully licensed)
- Holds Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with school-aged children (elementary through high school)
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to work with students with various disabilities
- Comfortable engaging in both Zoom and in-person interviews
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess and document student progress with clear, timely reporting
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct interventions as outlined in IEPs
- Advocate for students’ communication needs within the school setting
