What’s Needed:
- Active Washington State SLP License (Department of Health)
- Washington State OSPI ESA license with SLP endorsement (must be fully licensed)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Comfortable managing a diverse caseload, collaborating with educators and families, and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Participate as a collaborative member of multidisciplinary teams, contributing to IEP development
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, adhering to federal, state, and district regulations
- Engage with parents, staff, and other service providers to support student goals
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that helps students achieve their fullest potential
